I truly do hate running more than just about anything. Last year, thinking that accountability was all I needed, I talked my kind sister into signing up to do a 5k with me. Yeah. That didn’t happen. Sorry, Amy. Something came up and I ended up backing out, my diligent sister pressed on and did it without me.
Regardless of if I walk or run, I need to move more. And having the attention span of a toddler at times (especially when it comes to exercise) makes trying new things a real positive.
One thing I do enjoy..in a non-exercising kind of way… is The Walking Dead. (I cover my eyes for the the ooky parts…yes, the season premiere last night was a major eye-coverer). And although my heart is broken a little, and I’m hoping the season doesn’t progress the way it began (for several reasons, but this isn’t a review, so I’ll leave it there) – – – doing a little Zombie Run made me feel a bit better, I admit. (So did making pizza intestines as a snack for our premiere viewing!)
Whether you enjoy zombie shows or not, this might be a fun way to motivate you to move.
