Do you worry that you’re not doing everything you should in the parenting arena? If not, my first question is…are you lying?
After all, we all have our own variety of parenting fears.
But one question I think all parents ask themselves is, “Am I doing enough?” And the answer to all of our worries is: No, we probably should be doing more.
Right? But that doesn’t mean that we’re not doing enough.
And some of the simplest ways we can improve our parenting may look overly simple. Things like: baking with your kids.
I’m excited to point you over to the iHomeschool Network today to read a piece I’ve shared there about the Benefits of Baking with Your Kids.
It includes links to resources like conversations starters, easy recipes, and more. Things that can help you make the most of the time you’re spending in the kitchen with your kids…be they littles or teens, homeschool or not.
And the next time you worry if you’re doing enough…time to preheat the oven!

Yes, I did it quite often. We did French Bread Pizzas. We usually set up a toppings bar and let little ones customize their own creations.
What a fun idea! LOVE!
Totally yes. I always want my kids to involve by giving them small tasks. It helps to create the bond between us and good experience for them.
You make such a good point– we shouldn’t wait to cook with our kids til they can do it all. Small tasks that are age appropriate is all it takes. Helping stir, dumping in a cup of flour…it’s not surgery! 🙂
