But Susan, you said you were going to change the Food for Thought format. Yes, I did. But I also want to be sensitive to the feedback I receive. I heard from a number of readers who look forward to our Food for Thought posts in this format. I still plan to share notable articles to our Facebook page, so you can look for those as well, but for the time being, we’ll continue to share this way as well.

We’re going to try something new with our ‘Food for Thought’ segment. After this week, instead of compiling them all in one, bi-weekly post, we’re going to try posting notable articles to our Facebook page.
I’d love to know what you think, and if you have a preference. Who knows, maybe we’ll return to this format. You never know unless you try, right?! So please do let me know what you think!

One of the ways that we can encourage one another and help each other to grow is by sharing what we’re reading each week. I know that I always appreciate articles that friends share, things I wouldn’t have stumbled across otherwise.

While I’ve read a number of interesting articles this week, I’ll be taking a slightly different angle this time in Food for Thought. Instead of a list of various things that have interested, inspired or challenged me, I want to tell you a story of a lady whom I’ve never met.
Mandy Kelly blogged at Worshipful Living. I learned last week through some blogging groups that I’m a part of that she and her husband, and their two youngest children were killed in a house fire.
I’ve been learning a lot about Mandy this week, both from those who knew her and by spending time at her blog.
