Let's share what we've been perusing this week. From household tips, to spiritual growth...and everything in between!

What matters?  I mean…what really matters?  Sometimes it can be hard to tell, and other times we may think we are on the right track and not even realize that we’re actually adrift.  This week I’m taking time to think about my priorities, asking God to point me in the right direction, and seeking to invest myself in what truly matters.

Here’s what I’ve been reading:

The tweet that caused ‘Fixer Upper’ stars Chip and Joanna Gaines to end their hit reality TV show … at Faithwire.   Hint:  It has something to do with figuring out what really matters and pursuing that.

Life Lessons from The Greatest Showman … at Arabah Joy.   OK, I loved this movie.  I look for lessons in every film, and this one was full of them.  This discussion guide captures so many things about marriage, integrity and the meaning of success.

The #1 Reason Time Saving Tips Don’t Work … at The Hmmm…Schooling Mom.  Are we really trying to save time, or just fit more in?

Beyond the Free Range Chicken … at Heavenly Homemakers.

If I have a perfectly raised, free range chicken, but have not love, I am nothing but a conscientious cook whose meat is free of antibiotics. If I have dozens of cage free eggs, a refrigerator full of organically grown produce, and a freezer filled with grass fed beef, but have not love, I am nothing.

The Story of Leah:  When the Heart Wants What it Can’t Have … at Angel Penn.   God desires to give us good gifts.  But should He choose to withhold what our hearts so desperately want, can we trust Him in that? Can we be willing to be a stepping stone to something greater than ourselves?

Want happy, calmer kids?  Simplify their world…. at Green Child.  It’s not just too many toys, either.  Is your schedule totally packed?

Your brain only has room to care about 150 people… at Carrots for Michaelmas.  I’m not sure I believe this statistic, but regardless, this poses some interesting ideas.  Are you saving space in your brain (and schedule) for the people that really matter to you?

What have you been reading?
