I love getting the best stuff. And I love a deal. Almost never do those two loves come together. Before I tell you about my new favorite thing, let me ask you a question:
Do you know how much you pay for copies?
I did some research, and found that each black and white page printed on a home laser printer can cost an average of 5-8 cents, and 12-15 cents for a page with color. Pages with solid color graphics can cost even 50-60 cents per page.
And that’s printing at home. The office store nearest me charges 11 cents for black and white prints and 59 cents for color. One sided. And you have to drive there to have them done.
The Homeschool Printing Company was kind enough to provide me with a sample of their service, and I’m being compensated for my time in writing this post. But as with anything on The Sparrow’s Home, opinions are all mine.

The Homeschool Printing Company
The Homeschool Printing Company is not a division of some large company, looking to capture your dollars. It is a small business, run by a veteran homeschooling family. They’re not a full service printing company (they don’t do cutting, folding, etc.), but what they do they do exceptionally well and at exceptionally competitive prices.
And by competitive, I mean…wow!
GAH! Absolutely incredible prices. And it’s so simple. You just send them a PDF of what you want printed and they FedEx your order to you. Ta-da!
Let me break this down for you…
I got three documents printed by The Homeschool Printing Company, all full color. One of the things I got done was a double-sided flyer on heavier weight paper. Factoring in shipping they ended up totaling just under 19 cents a piece.
19 cents! Compare that to my local office store, which gave me an estimate of $1.24 per sheet for the same flyer.
I’m not going to give you the print at home estimate, because I would never print 300 full color double-sided flyers at home. But as much color as was on our copy, I would go with the above estimate of about a dollar in ink for both sides, and that’s not counting the heavier paper.
Hmmmm… 19 cents vs over a dollar. That is an unbelievable savings!! Hundreds of dollars!
Aside from printing, The Homeschool Printing Company does have three-hole punching, spiral binding, and lamination services. But one way that they can offer such amazing prices is by not trying to do everything. And frankly, I’m thrilled that they’ve chosen this business model. Simple projects make up 99.9% of what we would ever have printed.

Is there a list running through your mind, too, of all the things you could get printed?! Projects, lessons, timelines, notebooking pages, worksheets, and about a million other things for homeschoolers alone. Plus downloadable resources and e-books (because I really love a paper copy in my hand), flyers, resumes, planners, calendars…really, the list is endless.
I just can’t say how pleased we are with the copies we received!
My husband has been speaking on the lies of naturalism and the evidence for Biblical creation for about 6 years now. And as a born introvert, that’s saying something! We are in a season of expanding his speaking ministry, and the resources we had printed from The Homeschool Printing Company are our first step in this new venture. As his reach grows, I expect that we’ll be ordering a lot more from them in the future!
You can watch me opening my order below and see the high quality printing you’ll get. Then you can head over to The Homeschool Printing Company to place your first order. Don’t forget to tell them I sent you to get 10% off your first order!
Does the prospect of cheap copies excite you as much as it does me?
