Advice isn’t always well received, is it? All of the articles I’m sharing this week give solid advice or insights that I’ve needed at one time in my life….or now. I hope some of it is a blessing to you.
Here’s what I’ve been reading:
Why you don’t need to forgive yourself (and what you really need instead) … at A Divine Encounter. Perhaps you’ve gotten, or given, the advice to ‘forgive yourself’. Did you know that the Bible never tells us to forgive ourselves? So what do we do instead?
A servant in my house … at Maidservants of Christ. “…there is no other situation in my life where I have a greater opportunity to serve in secret, in silence, and in humility” than in my home.
Dear Mom of little ones… at Heart-to-Heart Homeschooling. A change in perspective isn’t going to make you less tired, but it’s still worth it. This is solid advice that every mom of littles can take to heart.
Am I praying for my husband or about him? … at Unveiled Wife and 7 reasons for a wife to choose prayer over prodding … at Growing a Content Heart. Both of these articles inspire me to be a better wife. They both hit on things that come naturally to me (and I don’t think I’m alone).
It’s a rumbling in your soul..not your stomach … at Humble Faith Family Wellness. Can I just say, “Amen!” This is a message I have been trying to fully learn and implement for years.
You are beautiful … at Hands-On Learning. We all need to hear this sometimes. This is a lovely reminder for you (and me) today.
What have you been reading?
*A brief disclaimer…I found these particular articles read-worthy. That doesn’t mean that I agree with or advocate everything on the site on which individual posts appear.
